T-129/18

Principles of proportionality and reasonability in suspension of intimate visitis in prisions .

The plaintiff is deprived of his liberty,  and considers that his fundamental rights were affected by the decision of the prison authorities to suspend intimate visits for ten months, for the alleged conduct of disrespectful treatment of the petitioner's visitor to the persons in charge of the requisition process. The Court reiterates jurisprudence related to the limits of administrative authorities when imposing measures that restrict intimate visits of persons deprived of their liberty. The Court protects the fundamental rights to privacy, family unity and due process.
