Obligation to solve cases involving a gender perspective

T-590/2017 Obligation to solve cases involving a gender perspective

In accordance with national and international regulations, judicial administrators are required to solve cases in which acts of violence against women are under investigation. In doing so, they should take into account gender criteria in order to prevent and eliminate all forms of violence against women. A clear example of this is the statement made by the  Interamerican Court of Human Rights, in it this Court established the duty of judges to thoroughly investigate, using the required evidence and  evaluating and analysing the context of the facts in order to determine whether that is a generalized pattern of behaviour.
