Jealousy is a reason for divorce

The Court determined that jealousy, as well as mistreatment and psychological harassment, are reasons to ask for a divorce. The Court reevaluated the issue after studying the case of a woman whose husband, a victim of jealousy, checked his clothes and took blood samples from his daughter to see if she was his daughter.
In this case, the woman had asked for a divorce, but she was denied by the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, considering that jealousy was not an argument.
The Constitutional Court relied on international conventions against gender violence, granting protection and protection to women
